Science Day in Class 6

What a brilliant day we had in class 6 with our Rocket Mice! We asked lots of interesting questions and experimented to find the answers.

Our big question was:

Does the volume of bottle affect the distance the mouse travels? 

We planned a fair test, predicted the outcome, collected results and drew a conclusion. After analysing the results, we concluded that the test was not fair so we carried out a further experiment the day after. 

This second experiment, which was fairer, had the same results as the first so we were able to draw a firm conclusion, which did not match our predictions. This taught us that in science you do not have to be right, but you do need to test your predictions.
