Scarlet Fever December 2022

Please do not worry, this is not because we have an outbreak at Padiham Green. This is precautionary information sent to every school.
Like all schools at the moment we have the usual coughs, colds and viruses and there is no need to keep your child off school, unless your doctor confirms your child has Scarlet Fever. If your child is diagnosed with Scarlet Fever, it is important to notify school straight away and as long as your child is on antibiotic treatment, they can return to school 24 hours after starting this treatment.
