Anti Vaping Project

We were delighted to welcome parents and visitors into school on Monday for the final presentation by a group of year 5 and 6 children. They have been working with Cancer Research Northwest to produce writing and a film about the dangers of vaping. The work began in January with a news workshop during which the children researched vaping and its impact on the environment and health. They interviewed family and friends about this subject and produed writing on their findings. This was followed by sessions with Burnley Youth Theatre to design and produce a film about the dangers of vaping.
The children learned alot about the dangers of vaping during this project and it was great to see them develop in confidence as the weeks went on.
