Class 5

In Class 5 we had a great day becoming scientists and experimenting with a wide variety of materials to test our theories. 
We firstly chose the most appropriate equipment to take measurements for our experiment and decided how to record our data and results using tables, bar and line graphs and also models. We then went on to explain which variables needed to be controlled and why as well as making most of the planning decisions on how to carry out a fair test. We also needed to recognise when it was appropriate to carry out a fair test and plan how to set it up. After this we carried out our experiments, recorded our results and compared them with our predictions.
